It’s a question I asked myself many times and probably it was one of the first questions that pushed me to begin my personal development journey which I decided to start over five years ago.
is something everyone wants to have. You may be successful
and have a lot of money, but without happiness it will be meaningless.
Happiness is when what you think, what you say, and what you do are in harmony.
Happiness is that state of consciousness which proceeds from the achievement of one’s values.
Happiness is something that you are and it comes from the way you think.
Happiness is essentially a state of going somewhere, wholeheartedly, one-directionally, without regret.
Happiness is not a reward – it is a consequence.
Happiness is different from pleasure. Happiness has something to do together with all your family with friends.
Happiness is something you experience, it’s something you remember.
So if we were lucky to be born in a nice and safe environment, with happy people around that supported us, stimulated us and taught us the importance of some good values, we are more likely to have a nice life and be happy.
But if were born in a distressed environment
, it’s more likely our life is not going to be an easy one unless we do something about it.
It’s a kind of luck… we obviously can’t choose where to be born…
If we don’t know how to do it, we can still learn how to be happy. So far we have learnt a lot of things, walking, talking, writing, so if we are not happy why not learn how to be Happy? I did, and I can’t see any reasons why anyone else can’t do it.
